As the mother of young adults, I am a long-term personal and professional patient advocate; a lifetime ‘mom on a mission.’ I was my children’s advocate long before I became a professional patient advocate. I have been advocating for 20 years between my children and my chosen profession.

For nearly a decade, I was the patient advocate for one of the most important people in my life: my oldest son. As a young child, he was diagnosed with failure to thrive, Chari 1 Malformation, IGF-1 deficiency and Klinefelter’s Syndrome. Later, he was diagnosed with impulse control disorder, anxiety and moderate depressive disorder.

To overcome these issues, and through non-stop advocacy, my son started receiving injections of the IGF-1 hormone to help stimulate his body to start producing the hormone on its own. His treatments went on over the course of 11 years. He is no longer on IV/IM medication.

My youngest son was diagnosed with high-functioning autism in 2012. This came with its own set of challenges. To help him progress through the healthcare system and gain access to vital, hard-to-get services and support, I leveraged my years of experience in being not only a mom and having a medical background, but being my oldest son’s tireless patient advocate.

I specialize in pediatrics of all diagnoses, hereditary angioedema (HAE), Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (Alpha-1), multiple sclerosis (MS), tumor necrosis factor (TNF) and estrogen replacement therapy (ERT) patients. My background also includes medical coding, medical records directorship, general patient advocacy and medical billing, including accounts receivable, accounts payable and profit and loss.

My goal as an advocate is to provide a listening ear, a trusting relationship with my patients and offer empathy and encouragement. I want my patients to know you do not have to worry about anything related to your therapy, and that you are never alone. From start to finish, I am here for you through the process and your journey.

Kristi enjoys providing patients with cheer, empathy, and a listening ear during the challenges of starting and staying on top of their infusions. She is dedicated to patients receiving top care and sharing details on how to afford these specialty medications.

Kristi is a single mother to 4 children; always teaching them to lead and abide by kindness. “It only takes a split second to smile and forget, yet to someone that needed it, it can last a lifetime.” Being in the position of a patient advocate is a huge undertaking and a responsibility that she does not take lightly. Improving infusion patient outcomes is more than a job to Lisa, a seasoned infusion clinician, instructional trainer, and masters-prepared registered nurse; it is a calling. And for over 25 years, she has answered the call. As the National IG Clinical Director of BioPlus Infusion, Lisa is key to developing the foundation for developing, managing and supporting the company's Tailored 2 You clinical and nurse concierge programs. Through her guidance, every patient and provider receive a clinical experience that's individualized for them.

Prior to being hand-picked for her role at BioPlus Infusion, Lisa was the Clinical Applications Educator for Nanosonics, Ltd., where she provided expert guidance on clinical standards for HLD and semi-critical devices. Prior to that, she was the lgG Clinical Program Manager for Kroger Specialty Pharmacy, where she oversaw the quality and outcomes of lgG clinical programs. Earlier on, she was the Southeast Regional RN Manager for Kroger Specialty Pharmacy and a Clinical Sales Liaison for Coram/CVS Specialty Infusion Services.

Fady is an Immunoglobulin Certified Pharmacist (IgCP)and his role at BioPlus is to oversee infusion operations. He is passionate about improving the health outcomes and quality of life of our patients, as he works with our team of nurses, technicians, and coordinators, to bring patients the best care possible. His expertise is immunoglobulin therapies (IVIg, SCIg), among other infusion therapies.

His most proud moments as a pharmacist come when he works with a new patient who had tried and failed a previous therapy, but then we are able to successfully implement a therapy that works for them. The many years Fady has spent in the infusion field have allowed him to develop a deep expertise in managing complex and chronic conditions, such as immune disorders, nutritional deficiencies, and rare diseases, using advanced therapies and innovative solutions.
